GigScout is an event discovery app that allows users to find live shows based on their musical preference and location. I worked with the founders to design a fully responsive marketing site that showcases the app’s features and GigScout brand. I also helped with UI/UX explorations for their web platform.

Before starting work on the marketing site, I spent some time understanding where GigScout fits in the live music industry. I conducted a competitive audit and did some usability testing to determine what features should be highlighted on the site. I then worked with the client to define a clear visual brand identity and started working on content and responsive wireframes.
With a solid brand identity nailed down, I began writing copy and developing wireframes for the marketing site. After multiple iterations, I arrived with the concept below.

After creating a set of responsive wireframes, I began developing high fidelity mockups of the site, which went through multiple design iterations. In the end, a fully responsive experience was created that captures the experience of live shows and highlights the benefits of GigScout.
It was important for the client to have a UI kit available to speed up the workflow of the upcoming web platform and ensure consistency.

I also created a style guide to help ensure consistency and communicate the message of the brand.
